OUR PASTOR . . .

 

                          Dr. Charles E. Graham, a native of Horry County (Loris, South Carolina). He is                                 married to Mrs. Betty Graham and is the father of three sons and one

                          daughter.

 

                         Dr. Graham was educated in the public schools of Horry County.  He received his Bachelor of Theology Degree from Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, Morgantown, Kentucky, Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from Faith Baptist Seminary, Anderson, South Carolina.

 

Dr. Graham was licensed to preach the Gospel Ministry in March, 1960, by Emanuel Baptist Church, High Point, North Carolina, and was ordained November, 1960, by the Ocean View Baptist Association.

 

Throughout his ministry, Dr. Graham has served as pastor to congregations in the States of North Carolina, California, Florida, and South Carolina.  He has faithfully served as Pastor of the Greater Faith United Missionary Baptist Church, Columbia, South Carolina, since 1993.  Dr. Graham is President and Founder of Central Christian University of South Carolina (formerly established as C. E. Graham Baptist Bible College), a Bible-based institution to educate and equip ministers and lay persons in the Gospel Ministry.  Dr. Graham serves on the Board of the National Christian Counselors Association (Sarasota, Florida) and is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and Certified Temperament Instructor.

 

His past affiliations include serving on the Morris College Board of Trustees as Chairman of the Development Committee;  President of the Gethsemane Sunday School and BTU Congress; Treasurer of the Greater Columbia Non-Denominational Ministerial Alliance; Secretary of the Kingston Lake Missionary Baptist Association of Horry County; Chaplain Administrator, US Army.

 

Dr. Graham is retired from the United States Army and is a recipient of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.
